How does Detached Insight translate into dream meanings? They are flashes of thought coming out of nowhere that hopefully will cause you to say "Ah-ha! Now I get it!"  Unfortunately, this is not a process that you can make happen at any given moment...at least I personally don't know of any way to do this willfully. You need to be 'detached' and not thinking about your dream meanings. You need to be fully in the present where you are not engaged in thoughts of the past or the future.
