Here is a simple recipe and instructions for making dream pillows. This one is for a general good night's sleep. You'll need the herbs listed below and a 3 x 5 inch cotton drawstring bag.
Restful Sleep
Imagine a soft billowing comforter, drifting peacefully on a warm breeze. Let yourself float back to childhood, when the soft comforter was the safest place on earth, a place with no worries and all your needs fulfilled.
1/4 cup lavender flowers
1/4 cup mugwort
1/4 cup sweet hops
Put the herbs in the bag, draw the strings closed and tie. Place the bag next to your head between your pillow and pillow case. When your head moves around during the night, it will release the scents from the herbs...aromatherapy!
You can easily obtain these herbs and the drawstring bags at your local health food store.
Now, can everyone use dream pillows? If you are overly sensitive or allergic to plants, herbs, or flowers, you should be careful when using a dream blend. But, for most people, these pillows are a very enjoyable and fun-filled experience!
