Types of Dreams ~ Message Dreams
Message dreams are a direct communication from your subconscious and absolutely worth the few minutes it takes to record and interpret them. Consider them to be valuable nuggets of wisdom that will enrich your life. One of the most common elements I've noticed in my own dreams is the repetition of an idea throughout a particular dream. The dream might portray an idea (or message) the same way again and again, or it might present it in several different ways. It's like our subconscious knows that our conscious mind can be rather dim-witted when it comes to translating symbols, so it repeats them over and over until we get it...and that's a good thing! For instance in my red-carpeted hallway dream, I was climbing that steep hallway again and again, and I did finally get the point. If I had only done it once, it might not have impressed me as much. So, be on the lookout for those repetitions and pay special attention when you notice them. Recurring dreams are along the same lines, except the message is being repeated in multiple dreams. If you do have recurring dreams, be sure to spend additional time on them as your subconscious is giving you a pretty strong nudge that you need to get the message. Another obvious common element in message dreams is someone showing you something, or giving you specific instructions. If you're really lucky and can remember exactly what was said, then do whatever you can to decipher it! Make sure to check out the other types of dreams!
